Treasure Coast Equipment Rental Service Areas

Local rental requests across the Treasure Coast

HBS rents commercial dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA air scrubbers and moisture diagnostic tools from its Stuart base for projects in Martin County and St. Lucie County. Each city page below covers the local housing, water and storm history that shape a drying job there. Include the exact job address with any request so delivery or pickup can be confirmed.

Six communities, six kinds of housing

The same leak plays out differently in a Stuart condo, a Port St. Lucie slab home and a Hobe Sound manufactured home. Census Bureau estimates show how different the housing is. On a phone, swipe the table sideways to see all six columns, including mobile homes and median year built.

Figures are rounded Census Bureau American Community Survey 5-year estimates (2020 to 2024) for each city or census-designated place. Jensen Beach covers the mainland census area; Hutchinson Island condos are described on the Jensen Beach page.

Martin County and St. Lucie County

  • In Martin County, HBS serves Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound, Port Salerno, Sewall's Point, and the Martin County side of Hutchinson Island.
  • In St. Lucie County, HBS serves Port St. Lucie, including Tradition and St. Lucie West, and Jensen Beach homes and condos on the St. Lucie County part of Hutchinson Island.

If your property is nearby but not listed, send the address and HBS will confirm whether it can fulfill the rental.

Know whether it is a leak or a flood

Rental drying equipment is for clean-water leaks and their aftermath. Water that rose from a canal, river, street or storm surge is floodwater, which the CDC warns may contain sewage, and HBS does not offer contaminated-water cleanup. Stop and call an appropriate experienced professional instead of renting for:

  • Sewage or a toilet backflow.
  • Outside floodwater or storm surge.
  • Washing machine or dishwasher water.
  • Mold growth.
  • A sagging ceiling or other structural damage.
  • Electrical hazards.

To check a property's flood zone, use Martin County's flood zone map, the City of Port St. Lucie's flood page or the FEMA Flood Map Service Center.

What local service means

Service-area coverage does not guarantee inventory or a delivery window. HBS confirms the equipment, quantities, rate, schedule, and delivery or pickup plan for each address before a rental is committed. See delivery and pickup for how handoffs work.

Martin County rentals and South Florida inquiries

HBS is based in Stuart, with the established rental service area described above in Martin and St. Lucie County. Start with the Stuart rental guide or your city's page, then send the actual project address and requested dates.

For a South Florida project outside those counties, ask HBS about fulfillment for that address before planning around the equipment. HBS must confirm whether it can fulfill the request and the pickup or delivery details; an inquiry is not a reservation or a delivery promise.
