Can I rent equipment by the day or week?

Yes. HBS offers daily, multi-day, weekly, and four-week rental options, subject to equipment availability and confirmation.

Can HBS deliver and set up the equipment?

Delivery, setup, and pickup can be coordinated for eligible locations and projects. The details and any applicable charges are confirmed before the rental.

Do I pay through this website?

The public request form does not collect payment. After HBS confirms equipment, dates, pricing, tax, and fulfillment, HBS may send you a private, secure PayPal payment link for the confirmed rental.

What diagnostic and specialty drying tools are available?

HBS also offers Injecti-Dry wall and cavity drying systems, FLIR thermal imaging, moisture meters, and digital hygrometers, subject to availability.

What if I do not know which equipment I need?

Describe the affected area and project conditions in the request form or call (772) 677-1735. HBS will recommend a setup before anything is reserved.

How much does it cost to rent a dehumidifier or air mover?

Base rates are per unit, before tax: a commercial LGR dehumidifier is $70 for 24 hours, $305 for one week or $925 for four weeks. Air movers are $25, $125 or $385 for the small size and $50, $150 or $500 for the large size. HEPA air scrubbers start at $220 for 24 hours. See all equipment rental rates. How many air movers and dehumidifiers does a wet room need?

Start with the IICRC worksheet: one air mover per wet room, plus one per 50 to 70 square feet of wet floor, one per 100 to 150 square feet of wet wall above 2 feet and wet ceiling, and one per inset or offset deeper than 18 inches. Size dehumidifiers from the room's cubic feet and the class of water loss. The sizing guide covers lower-wall-only losses and worked examples.

Where do you serve?

HBS Equipment Rentals is based in Stuart and serves Martin and St. Lucie County, including Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound, and Port Salerno.

Can I rent equipment for sewage or flood water?

No. Water from sewage, a toilet overflow or backflow, outside floodwater or storm surge, or a washing machine or dishwasher overflow can carry bacteria and other contaminants. Call an appropriate experienced professional for that water. HBS rentals and HBS's separately scoped water-only drying are for clean-water (Category 1) leaks only, and HBS does not offer contaminated-water cleanup.

How long will the equipment need to run?

Many clean-water jobs dry in a few days when the right equipment runs around the clock, but thick materials, cabinets, and wet wall cavities take longer. Check readings each day with a moisture meter and keep the equipment running until materials match a dry area of the same material.
